Return to Ashland Lake / Jeane Joyner.
Ashland Fishing Lodge is now home to the McCarthy Family. For Emma McCarthy, fleeing an abusive marriage in Italy, the Lodge offers the perfect place to pursue her career as an artist while she heals, physically and mentally. When Emma joins a hospital fundraising effort, she becomes friends with Christy and a host of quaint, small-town characters. A retired military pilot sparks feelings she's trying to forget, but she must decide if she can trust her instincts. She begins to relax and focus on her painting, but someone is murdered and someone is seeking revenge. Emma soon finds herself playing a role in unraveling more secrets of Ashland Lake.
